Independent, international journal of architecture that integrates the academic discourse and sensitivities of design practice. OASE strives for critical reflection, in which the architectural project occupies a central place, while at the same time being understood within a broader cultural field. Cross-fertilisations and affinities with other disciplines are explored to gain a better understanding of architectural theory and practice and to articulate its disciplinary boundaries. OASE is published three times a year and carries out rigorous research on one specific theme within architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. It emphasizes the historical and theoretical aspects of current topics.
