Edition to accompany the exhibition of the same name in Het Nieuwe Instituut. For the series 'Surprising finds from the collection', archivist Alfred Marks selected special drawings, photos, objects and models from the archive of Het Nieuwe Instituut on the basis of a theme. The presentations did not necessarily show the highlights of Dutch architectural history, but above all the richness, diversity and narrative power of the collection. Studio Makkink & Bey was responsible for the exhibition model and curator of artistic interventions. At their request, Studio Plott, BuroBELÉN and Camiel Fortgens responded with interventions to the historical collection items.
